Little Treasures Sale!

Hey, guess what? Were having another Little Treasures Sale! We will be selling stuff from the Victoire basement of decor goodies, as well as the Aunt Olives basement full of amazing vintage finds (so excited!!!) and from our own bursting closets. Don't be surprised to find some beautiful designer and vintage goods at amazing prices.

What? Vintage and gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, and home decor galore!

A glimpse of heaven.

As I mentioned, on Sunday we headed out to our magical land where the webstore comes together. Regine and I watched in amazement at how beautiful and delightful Erin & Sage always are, and at how Arden can perfectly capture moments. It was so great, and even though we were all zonked from the party the night before the day went by much too fast!



Here is a little sneak peak. The webstore should be updated in the next week or so, so make sure to check in when you're at the cottage and need to shop somewhere other then SAAN, or when you're telling your cousin in Miramishi, NB where to get cutie-pie dresses!

I love cows and Marais USA!

We are so totally super excited to be carrying Marais USA shoes. They are totally adorable, super well priced and are designed by a young best friend duo just like us! And for all you animal lovers out there: vegan! Here is our advice, and you better take it seriously: Come in fast, these aren't gonna last long! (Especially after the staff two-week freeze is over!)

We had such a great weekend with the Canterbury Fashion show on Friday (again Julia, it was amazing, we are so proud of you!), then the big hoe-down on Saturday and on Sunday we went did a first round of webstore pictures in the country. More on each of these when we get the pictures!

Tina Fey knows we exist!

Some weeks you just have to thank gawd for small pleasures in life! When you wake up in late March greeted by -13 degrees and windy weather when just last week you were riding your bike by the canal you really have to convince yourself that not everything sucks that much. Three things that kept me going this week:

1. The fact that Tina Fey made fun of Ottawa on 30 Rock ( one of our favs!!!) last night! I was so surprised and happy and honoured that of all places/hockey teams in the world they chose our very own city to mock on national television. Right on!



2. This photo I found of a shrine someone made to the King of Pop



3. The influx of pretty vintage spring shoes in the store (all $29)

Sort of, kind of, like a Luddite.

Lots of little treasures at the Wellington shop that look like they are from a bygone era. Little treasures that can make us all look like luddites, though ones that embrace moving picture shows, microwave popcorn and things made with machines... so really not luddites at all.

Thank heavens for Marysol!

For all of you who made it out to our 3rd year party, you know that nothing beats Marysol food. Well we are so very very very lucky that she is not only a fantastic chef that loves making bit size deliciousness, but also that she is a fantastic friend that loves to help make Victoire parties a blast.
