Regine + Katie are BFFFFFFFFFFFFFFs!

We are so super duper excited for our "That's so BFF" party.  It's gonna be a fun filled night of discounts, crafts and camera silliness.  We are thrilled that fellow BFFs ViensAvecMoi opened in our hood! This is definitely the first of many parties we throw together, exciting!!!

To get you all in the mood for "That's so BFF" I thought I would share some pictures of Regine and me together. We have been friends for 12 years now, isn't that crazy?  And if you were to ask us a week into our friendship if we would still be in each other's life, I think we would have said: "I sure hope so - she is a cool confident WO-MAN!" (in high school we were really into being grown ups)

That first picture is us in high school, with our band t-shirts on and Regine's signature leather rope necklace. We look like little babies!  The second picture is a few years later. I am not sure if you can tell but we are both wearing really big earrings. We were super duper into bold statement earrings. Now we wear studs.

This is our other BFF, MC. We are all wearing our favorite cool-chill outfits at the time. The top Regine is wearing I also had, we still do that now and it rarely happens that we are wearing the same thing on the same day. Twin Brain covering us?  Also, please notice: we started covering our massive foreheads. The bang sweep entered our lives! Took years for us to try bangs.  I wish I still wore 1" pins....

Okay this picture I remember taking vividly. We were at a party at our other-other BFF (Liana) Mom's house. And we found a "sexy" (because it was a two piece with spaghetti straps) bathing suit and took this picture to "TOTALLY embarrass Liana". We were clearly prudes. Remember "Never Nudes", well we were before our time....   Man, so much time was spent in our rooms. Liana's had all these lyrics written all over her walls, Regine's had posters from Spin magazine covering all the space, mine had both porcelain dolls, records pinned to the wall and weird leather masks (can't escape "Circus" culture growing up in Montreal).

Don't we look like nice fun people? We used to say we love: friends, fun, food, feminism and fashion! Doesn't that sound great? I love that.  Wanna hear something crazy? The dress I am wearing in the second picture is my legal-wedding day dress. That picture was taken the spring I got married!!! I look like a baby. Also the two jackets Regine is wearing in these pictures were in our lives for so long. Man, it's weird seeing them again. Hope you kept them Regine, those are the tapestry of our lives!

This was one of our favorite activities before we opened the shop and well, it still is now. We used to call it "Corporate Espionage", we would analyze every detail when we went into boutiques. Took note of the good, the bad and how we would one day do it differently. It was so much fun and really great prep for our business. We still do it now, but we call it "Market Research". We will be doing A LOT of research in L.A. Might even need to pick up some "products" to analyze! That is a little heads up to Yann, our accountant!


Maybe if you all are very very lucky, and we are very very drunk we will tell you and SHOW you punXercise next Saturday! Oh man, you all will love it and die of laughter...
